Fastweld 10-3-Minute Thick Gel Gray General Purpose Epoxy (50ml Hand Plunger Kit)

This is a kit that includes on cartridge, one mixing nozzle one reusable mixing sheet, and one small hand plunger for light-duty dispensing. Huntsman Fastweld 10 A/B epoxy adhesive is a rapid-setting, two-component paste offering a convenient one-to-one mixing ratio by volume or weight. Fastweld 10 A/B epoxy adhesive produces strong bonds in a very short period. It is especially suited for bonding small parts and for repair work. Features Color. Gray Density. 1.46 g/cm3 Viscosity at 23C. 250,000 cP (Thick Gel) Mix Ratio. 1. 1 by volume and by weight Shear strength. 2840 psi, at 77f cured for 24hrs Applying the Adhesive No special techniques are required to work with this adhesive. Mix the two components thoroughly on a clean, dry surface. The bonding surface can be wood, metal, plastic or cardboard, among others. For best results, the two surfaces being bonded should be free of oil, dirt, moisture, etc. And should be slightly roughened or sanded to remove gloss. Apply the resin/hardener mix with a spatula to the pretreated and dry joint surfaces. A layer of adhesive 0.002 to 0.004-inches (0.05 to 0.10-mm) thick will normally impart the greatest lap strength to a joint. The joint components should be assembled and clamped as soon as the adhesive has been applied. Event contact throughout ensures proper cure. Please Note. These cartridges are designed to work best with a 50ml cartridge Dispenser. We strongly advise you use a 50ml Dispenser for this, and all 50ml cartridges. However, If you do not have or want this type of gun, then this package may be right for you. It includes a manual hand plunger that can be used to dispense the epoxy, and two extrusion options 1) a mixing nozzle and 2) a reusable mixing sheet. The two parts may prove a little hard to push out, if so then simply take the mixing nozzle off and extrude the two parts onto the mixing sheet and manually mix with a stick or the mixing nozzle manually.
